Though, the rain tried to prevent us from having fun.  dry.gif  Perhaps we could check the forecast ahead next time (if possible)?

Yeah, that would be great, but considering the amount of time needed to reserve the park beforehand, it's nearly impossible to do so. sad.gif That sucks for the planning committee, since it becomes a Russian Roulette for picking a date. blink.gif

Hm, location, weather, and date are the very important factors to investigate for a successful picnic! ohmy.gif Le sigh, it is hard to balance that all~ =x= Fear not, we, loyal Shimakon-ers shall try our best to help! biggrin.gif

True, though the weather will always be a problem, ne? You know that saying, "If you don't like the weather in Texas, just wait five minutes." Though heat seems to be the dominant weather condition. I hate the heat! >.< Grrrrr. It's so freakin' hot!

Sigh, Texas weather will never change (drastically), ne? XP

Oh, oh~ Many Texas conventions are taking place in the summer so finding a good date for the next Shimakon picnic may be difficult to squeeze in. ohmy.gif

Well, considering the freak rainstorm on the last picnic date, I'd say it can. Just not very often. Anyways...I wouldn't know anything about the next picnic. Nothing has been confirmed.

...so...lets say....on a scale of 1-10, what will be the chances of having a picnic in the summer, 1 being "not likely, im terribly sorry" and 10 being "save the date"?

I think that we are doing another picnic in June! Humm..let me make sure someone posts it for sure. We will have one over the summer and it won't conflict with A-Kon. Most of the Shimakon Staff will be attending A-kon this year.

So, on a scale of 1-10, a big 10! biggrin.gif
